Terrapin Beer Co. Returns as Taco Mac’s Beer of the Month for September

Taco Mac brings back Athens-based Terrapin Beer Co. as its September Beer of the Month, highlighting four unique brews and a giveaway item each week. Featured beers include Oktoberfest, a German-style Märzen, Recreationale local IPA, Depth Perception imperial IPA and Rise Up American pale Ale.  Thursday pint nights start at 5 p.m. with the following giveaways (one item per customer, while supplies last): hat and sticker on Sept. 8, Atlanta Falcons color-changing cup on Sept. 15, Atlanta Falcons schedule magnet on Sept. 22 and Atlanta Falcons keychain on Sept. 29.

Founders John Cochran and Spike Buckowski introduced Rye pale ale to Athens, Georgia, in April 2002. In a few short months, the ale made its way to Denver for the Great American Beer Festival, where the founders received a gold medal for their brew.
