TACO MAC TAPPED TO RECEIVE 2019 VIBE VISTA AWARD

While guests always find fun fermenting at Taco Mac, they also will notice staff a little more hopped up thanks to the announcement that the popular eatery has taken home the VIBE Vista Award for Best Overall Multi-Unit Chain Restaurant from the 10th annual VIBE Conference on Feb. 26. The San-Diego based conference is the premier education program for on-premise beverage decision makers.

The VIBE Vista Awards were launched to honor positive initiatives that drive beverage sales, innovations that create operational efficiencies and training and service programs that inspire the highest quality standards and operational practices. Judges are comprised of esteemed Johnson & Wales University faculty, staff and alumni.

Taco Mac CEO Harold Martin, Jr. is particularly pleased about taking home the honors for best overall multi-unit chain restaurant. “With operations such as Fridays and Landry’s Concepts in the running, we were up against some stiff competition,” Martin says. “As the CEO, I know how hard our teams work, not only to create a tight operation, but also a brand that continues growing and exceeding customer expectations. It’s gratifying to have industry professionals recognize and honor our brand for those efforts.”

Taco Mac has a long history of bringing home awards. At last year’s ceremony, Taco Mac was honored with VIBE Vista Awards for Best Beer Program and Best Responsible Alcohol Service.
