Atlanta Beer Week

Atlanta is home to many amazing craft breweries. To celebrate them and their contribution to the beer industry, Taco Mac is hosting events at all its Georgia locations October 9 to October 15, 2016.

What and When

10/9

Every Georgia Taco Mac location will feature Southern Tier Zero Mile on tap. Did you know Atlanta was a train stop before becoming a bustling city and were the zero mile post marker? This amazing beer is brewed with Taco Mac, Atlanta Beverage, and Eagle Rock Distributing as a tribute to local craft breweries. Hashtag ATL Beer Week to let your friends know your part of the beer in-crowd while enjoying this brew.

10/10

We keep the ATL beer week fun going with $4 pints at all our Georgia locations for one day only. Although this price doesn’t apply to 11 oz. pours, we know you’ll love the beers being featured for Atlanta beer week so much that you’ll want the whole pint, maybe a couple!

Rest of the Week

For the remainder of the week, each Georgia Taco Mac will be featuring a beer (or more) from a brewery close to their location. For example, our Woodstock location will feature beer(s) from Reformation brewery and our Decatur location will feature beer(s) from Three Taverns.

We round out the week with Gate City Terminus, named after Atlanta’s first train stop. This dark and heady porter is brewed in Roswell and is a great dessert beet with its notes of chocolate, caramel, and coffee. Yum!

Check your local Taco Mac location to find out which brewery they’re featuring. Each one has great tasting beers that pair well with multiple items on our menu. Stop by to participate in the fun! And let your friends know using hashtag ATL beer week so they don’t miss out!

Other Ways to Appreciate ATL Breweries

ATL beer week will be great fun for everyone. And you can show even more support for your local breweries by visiting them. Many local breweries offer tours and/or tastings so you can see where they create their unique flavors and get an insiders perspective. It’s a great way to spend an afternoon and support your local beer folks.
